Carol's VPN
These terms govern access to and use of the Carol's VPN website, VPN service, Android app, public API, support channels, and related subscription services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to create an account or purchase a subscription. If you are acting for a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
Account responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining control of your account credentials and access code.
- You are responsible for the activity that occurs through your account and subscriptions.
- You must notify Carol's VPN promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.
Acceptable use
You may not use Carol's VPN for unlawful activity or in a way that harms the service or other users.
- No spam, phishing, malware delivery, or unauthorized bulk messaging through service-related systems.
- No disruption, abuse, or interference with Carol's VPN servers, networks, or support systems.
- No use of the service to evade law in a way that creates direct legal or operational risk for the business.
Suspension and termination
Carol's VPN may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, non-payment, unlawful use, or other conduct that threatens the service or other users. Account access may also be suspended if a subscription expires, payment fails, or a cancellation takes effect.
Billing and refunds
- Subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
- You are responsible for keeping billing information current through Stripe Checkout or the customer portal.
- Carol's VPN currently advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. Any refund policy published on the site controls over a generic non-refund assumption.
- Plan access, renewals, cancellations, and payment failures may affect whether the VPN account remains active.
Service availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Carol's VPN does not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect availability, or complete immunity from bugs, outages, attacks, or data loss.
Carol's VPN may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, including pricing, regions, applications, APIs, or support processes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Carol's VPN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of use, data, business, or profits arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected, used, retained, and disclosed.
Third-party services
Carol's VPN relies on third-party providers including Stripe and Purelymail. Carol's VPN is not responsible for the content, uptime, or policies of third-party services outside its control.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change over time. Continued use of the service after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of those revisions.
